Greetings
Thank you for visiting our web site PlaySmart
appreciates the opportunity to introduce to you our line of soft
contained playground equipment. We believe PlaySmart playgrounds
are the best in the world, and it is our hope that your research
leads you to the same conclusion.
Buying a soft playground is a substantial
investment, but the up front cost is typically only a small component
of a playground’s economic life. The right playground can
generate tens to even hundreds of thousands of dollars every year
over its entire life. An under performing playground can cost
you tens of thousands of dollars per year in lost revenue. Revenue
that you may not even be aware is being lost because it is from
those customers that are not visiting your facility.
Picking the right playground is simply too
important a decision to risk making a bad decision. In choosing
your playground supplier I would like to suggest that you enlist
the help of those who will be your future customers, the children.
Adults are not always exactly in tune with what children want,
but children themselves know exactly what they like. Giving your
customer what they want is of paramount importance in the leisure
entertainment industry, and when it comes to soft playgrounds,
children are the customers.
Invest a day, or even a few days (it is that
important), conducting field research on the playgrounds you are
considering buying. Literally take as many children as practical
to visit locations that already have a play system designed by
the playground supplier you are considering. Let the children
play and then get their feedback. Children will be very forthcoming
and honest with their opinions. They will tell you which playground
they would most like to return to and that is the playground that
will make the best addition to your facility.
Letting the children influence your playground
purchase is the best way of choosing well, but while you are visiting
existing entertainment centers also take advantage of the opportunity
to talk with parents. How parents feel about the play equipment
will also impact repeat business. Talk with the owners and managers
as well, if they can spare the time.
Soft playgrounds are a very visible and substantial
addition to any facility. The role they play bringing in families,
increasing revenue of your other attractions, and in your customer’s
feelings about your business is just too important to take lightly.
Before purchasing your soft playground, do your research. You
will be glad you did.
Best regards,
Darrell Weaver, President
